Hello, I’m Peter.
For years, I’ve witnessed the power of somatic work in my psychotherapy practice. And now I’m passionate about bringing this lifechanging work to athletes, professionals and organizations through coaching.
Because growth is continually on center stage in our lives, when you work with me, we get to be in that field of growing together. At times it's electric; at other times, it’s slow, deep and warm. But no matter the moment, there is possibility.
I work with individuals and groups in my Berkeley office, nationally and internationally. I’ve been on the faculty in the Somatics program at the California Institute for Integral Studies and was the founder and Clinical Supervisor for the Center for Somatic Psychotherapy in San Francisco.
My many years of personal and professional studies with the founder of Formative Psychology®, Stanley Keleman, form the primary frame for my work. I’ve also been practicing the art of Aikido for more than 20 years, which beautifully complements my professional practice and informs my understanding of transitions, growth and relationships.
