Who you have been is your history—not your destiny.
One of the most difficult things in life is to know ourselves.
That’s because all of us live, work and play within the frame of a familiar identity that we’ve built over time. We’re so familiar with ourselves, in fact, that how we act in the world and who we know ourselves to be just sort of fades into the background. Just think about it: how many times have you said, “It’s just who I am. I’ve been this way forever."
But when you’re trying to navigate a difficult challenge, want to pursue a new opportunity with your work, or boost your performance on the field, you need to transcend the confines of who you’ve been and engage in the world as the person you want to be. The good news is with the right coaching, it’s well within your grasp.
Working together to evolve your identity
We yearn for a life that expresses our true purpose and gives us a feeling of great potential. We may even get glimmers of this potential and possibility, but then “real life” intervenes and we go back to the life that’s familiar.
But who you have been is your history, not your destiny.
Rather than making demands of the same familiar you—like trying to squeeze more from the same fruit—you can grow another you, ripe and ready to go, full of possibility.
With my coaching, you’ll get the practical tools you need to grow the you that will give you the future you desire. We’re not talking about work that replaces who you are. But rather, you learn how to make small—but powerful—changes that radically shift how you view yourself and how you show up in the world. You’ll be empowered to embrace possibilities that were unavailable to you before and pursue dreams you always thought were beyond your reach.
More understanding.
More influence.
More possibilities.
The somatic approach to performance coaching
Your body’s ranges and expressions are as unique and identifiable as your signature. They define you, yet they also confine what is possible for you. So my coaching integrates a body-centered model called somatic therapy. You’ll learn how to engage your body to support you in reshaping your thoughts and beliefs so you have more control over your future and build new behaviors with ease.
